RAOK #2- Fire Fighter Love

It is a well know fact that most women love fire fighters. They are masculine, sweet, and oh so nice to look at but they are also dedicated community heroes. One of the thoughtful things the fire fighters do is provide stuffed animals to children when they respond to a traumatic call. In the midst of tragedy and loss the children are given something to cuddle and find comfort in. We donated a bag full of soft and snugly critters, beef jerky, pickles, and doughnuts to the fire station. Yes, we gave them pickles... in case some of the fire fighters were more health conscience and did not want a fatty doughnut. ;) The fire men thanked us for our generosity by taking us on a fire truck tour. We got to climb in the trucks, see all the bells and whistles, and the kids even got to ring a bell too. It was a rewarding and fun RAOK.
