RAOK #1- Birthday in a Bag

Well, after evaluating my life, realizing there was no earthly way I could accomplish 32 random acts of kindness in a few short hours, I resolved to do 32 random acts of kindness in the next year. Much more reasonable, eh? Well I'm happy to report on my first RAOK. I had a lot of help with this fun service. My gal pal Julie, her son Jaxsen, Jonas, Lillie and I put together five "birthday in a bag" kits. We included a cake mix, frosting, a bag of balloons, a streamer roll, plastic utensils, paper plates, paper cups, party hats, and party favors in each bag. We dropped them off at the East Valley Child Crisis Center to be used to celebrate when a resident child has a birthday. I hope the children enjoy their parties as much as we enjoyed creating their "birthday in a bag" kits.

That was so much fun! Thank you for letting Jax and I be a part of it. If you need future help with your RAOK, count us in!!!
